Website Redesign can be one of the most powerful drivers of revenue growth—especially when your ad spend stays the same. In this case study, we break down how a strategic website redesign improved user experience, reduced friction, and significantly increased conversions without increasing traffic or marketing budget. By focusing on clarity, mobile performance, and stronger calls-to-action, this redesign delivered a 46% year-over-year revenue increase, proving that better website performance—not more ad spend—is often the key to scaling a pool business online.
In the pool industry, most companies assume growth comes from spending more on ads.
More Budget = More Clicks = More Sales
But what if the real opportunity isn’t generating more traffic… but what happens after the click? That’s exactly what we set out to test.
Space Coast Pool School, a pool service education brand, was already generating consistent traffic through pay-per-click advertising. The campaigns were stable, the audience was dialed in, and the cost per click was predictable. But despite steady traffic, performance had plateaued.
The issue wasn’t visibility. It was conversion.

Instead of increasing ad spend, we focused on improving what mattered most: the website experience.
We rebuilt the site with a focus on:
✔️ Clear, immediate value proposition
✔️ Simplified navigation and user flow
✔️ Mobile-first design improvements
✔️ Stronger calls-to-action
✔️ Trust-building elements throughout the funnel
No new traffic sources. No increase in budget. Just a better-performing website.

Recently, in the month of March, we noticed:
✔️ Revenue increased by 46% year-over-year
✔️ Ad spend remained exactly the same
✔️ Conversion efficiency improved significantly
✔️ Customer acquisition became more cost-effective
This wasn’t a seasonal spike or a short-term anomaly. It was the result of removing friction and making it easier for customers to take action.

While we’d love to credit all of the success to the website redesign, the reality is that performance improved across multiple fronts—particularly on landing pages, which were also redesigned to improve their Google Ads strategy.
New highly qualified landing pages aligned with specific search intent helped increase Quality Scores, improve conversion rates, and ultimately reduce the client’s cost per click. We also segmented campaigns more strategically. Dedicated campaigns were created for Virtual Online Events and In-Person Events, allowing for more precise targeting, messaging, and budget allocation. In addition, we launched a Spanish-language campaign aimed at Spanish-speaking pool professionals, with ad copy written natively by Spanish speakers to ensure authenticity and stronger engagement, as well as a series of video ads.
Finally, we allocated a portion of the ad budget toward retargeting. This allowed us to stay in front of prospective customers who had already visited the site but hadn’t yet committed. By extending the decision-making window and reinforcing the value proposition, these campaigns helped convert warm traffic that otherwise might have been lost.
Together, these improvements played a significant role in driving more efficient traffic, increasing conversions, and maximizing the overall return on ad spend.

Most pool businesses focus heavily on lead generation—but overlook what happens once a visitor actually lands on their website. If your site isn’t converting, you’re leaving money on the table. More traffic won’t fix that. A better website will.
You don’t always need to spend more on traffic. Sometimes, you just need to do a better job at converting the traffic you’re already getting. At PoolMarketing.com, we specialize in helping pool companies turn their websites into high-performing sales tools—so every click works harder for your business.
